Coco Jones: Disney Channel Alumni Turned Latest Super Star
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Written By: Jessica Rechani

Daughter of Arizona Cardinals player, Mike Jones, star of the Disney Channel Original Movie Let It Shine, Tennessee native, Dance Moms alumni, and R&B, pop, and soul artist.

All of these titles and more are what best describe rising star Coco Jones. Now, she will have a new title to her list of many accomplishments; recording artist, as she is set to release her debut album before the end of 2024. The album will be filled with songs such as Sweep It Up, Here We Go (Uh Oh), Most Beautiful Design, and a cover of Almost There from the 2009 Disney animated film, The Princess and the Frog. Each tune is set with an up-tempo R&B rhythm and style that will leave listeners dancing along to every note and tune that comes from Jones’s melodious voice (which she inherited from her mother, who was also a singer).

However, music isn’t the only thing Jones has been busy with. Jones has also made her mark in the acting industry starring in shows like Vampires vs. the Bronx, Flock of Four, Five Points, Bel-Air, and more. She has also appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Chicago Med, The Exes, and T and Coco. Every time she steps into the spotlight, she charms her audience with her charisma, elegance, and grace, putting everything she has into every character she plays and making them seem human in some way.

She is also an icon of ambition because, from an early age, she learned to be ambitious and fight for everything she has now. Being ambitious means that you are goal-oriented and Jones had to learn that if you are centered on accomplishing something that would eventually lead to something greater than what you are focusing on now, then, your dreams will come true and you will feel proud at completing something you have worked hard for. Her message of ambition and being goal-oriented will stay in the minds of millions to come as people take a chance, take a risk, and follow by example in Jones lifestyle to build a better life for themselves.
